Will a PC video card work on a G4 Power Mac?

I have a G4 Power mac that I have tried every reset option in the service manual, but it still makes the startup sound without showing anything on screen. I think it is the video card. I have dozens of PC video cards of various vintage and types at my disposal, but no Mac cards. Any change any of them will work? If not, is there a way flash or reprogram a card to work? If I need to buy a card, I don't want to put much money into this Mac. Is there a good place to buy inexpensive mac compatible video cards.|||Well, you could just try it. Or look up your motherboard on the internet and see what video cards are compatible with it.
