Can you upgrade video memory in a Mac laptop?

I am trying to purchase a Mac laptop (used) at a good price. Video memory is an important necessity, however because of what I will be using the laptop for. Is it possible to upgrade a video card in these, or are they on board ? Anyone have some advice......? Also, how much video memory is needed for a big graphics program to run nicely on a Mac laptop (it will have a processor somewhere in the 500-800 Mhz range.)|||Yes you can upgrade the video memory. It's called buying a new motherboard since it's video would be onboard. (and if you're going to go through all that trouble, you may as well reach deeper into your pockets and buy one that isn't jacked up!)

And 500-800MHZ? Will anything decent run on that? Thats horrid.|||random advice: never eat yellow snow
