Are memories and video cards for PC compatible with Mac?

Memory is. Graphics, that's another story. I do know that both ATi and nVidia provide graphics cards to Apple. However, I am not aware of an off the shelf card that comes with drivers for OSX. But, since ATi and nVidia both use unified drivers (more in the case of nVidia) then I suppose if you have an ATi graphics card or a nVidia card already then in theory you could pop a new one in and have it work. That's only a guess on my part. Neither ATi nor nVidia provide OSX drivers on their website. You're best off asking someone in an Apple store but I know what their answer would be. It couldn't hurt to try, you can always send the card back.

Some boards come in "Mac Edition" but not many and not the newer GPUs either.|||Glad to help.

|||Problem is your question - like so many others here - is incomplete. If you have an x86 Mac, then the graphics cards will likely work. If you don't, they probably won't.

|||RAM is compatible to the extent that your PC and Mac use the same RAM. If your PC uses DDR and the mac SDRAM, then no, they are not compatible - as I said, Memory more so than Graphics Cards.

|||always helps to read on package if it is compatible....DUH..!!!!!|||No 2 very similar but different Technology's|||Memory more often than video cards, but it's possible both are. But you always need to check on the side of the box for compatibility.|||no
