I bought the Mac about two months before the summer of '09. Its a 15 inch with 2.66 GHz intel processor, and 4 GB of 1067 MHz RAM. The discrete video card is a 9600m GT but i would like to beef that up a bit!!! Any suggestions? Serious answers only please.|||You can not change laptop graphics cards. They're integrated onto the motherboard. You will in no way be able to "beef up" anything but the laptop's RAM. That is unless you want to buy a whole different laptop, which I'm sure you'd rather not do.|||The very best that you could do is find out what better card may have been put into another mac. Other than through Apple, there is NO support for video cards.

So I want to buy The Sims 2 for mac, but my computer's video card is the ONLY spec not met...?
I have a Mac OS X Tiger edition, and everything else about this machine exceeds the system specs for the game--except the video card. The game doesn't support the Intel GMA 950, and I'm confused as to what this means. Does this mean that the game won't play at all? Or does it mean that it will still play, but with a lower FPS? Be merciful in answering, I'm naught but a teen with a low understanding of technology.|||the game wont play on macs the video card is to weak ---macs has never been knwon as a game machine
