Can someone replace the video card/RAM on a Mac if he/she wanted to?

Where whould you get video cards or RAM compatible with Mac? or does mac use the same video cards and RAM a PCs use?|||I think the newer MACs are built basically exactly like PC's. If they have PCI-e slots, then you could use a PCI-E video card. And you can replace the RAM, just find out what kind you need|||yup same stuff you just have to make sure the video card has drivers for Macintosh|||The video card can be replaced on some models. Mostly you can't replace it and even if you can it is a bad idea unless you really know the compatibility.
